Enjoy Life And Live It Up In The Kitchen
There are many of us women who spend the best years of our lives worrying about the amount of cellulite we have on the backs of our thighs, trying crazy fad diets and poring over weight loss books. While it is definitely a very good thing to keep your weight in check it should not consume your entire life.
So stop the constant comparisons of your figure against say Naomi Campbell's and just start enjoying the simple pleasures of life. Take joy in the fact that you have a body that works for you, even if it does not have perfect dimensions according to Vogue magazine.
Yes, you need to do some form of exercise regularly, because it keeps you healthy, makes your skin glow and also releases endorphins, which make you happy. No, your exercise regimen does not have to rule your life. Accept yourself as you are and your self confidence will grow in leaps and bounds and you will probably live longer. No matter how critical you are of yourself, you should be able to list at least a couple of things that you like about your physical appearance. When you have done that focus on remembering them and highlighting them in your dress sense and the way you carry yourself.
Ok, now that you have done all that you can start to have fun with your food again. That does not mean you are allowed to eat frozen meals and take out all the time. Nor are you allowed to indulge your fast food habit at your whim. No, if you are going to enjoy food, you have to do it properly and get quality stuff.
As well as eating yummy food, cooking for others can be a very pleasurable experience. Why not extend your skills and take some private cooking classes? This is a great way to develop your skills in the kitchen as well as trying new foods and combinations.
In addition you will learn more about nutrition and making healthy, but scrumptious, meals at home rather than reaching for a frozen meal or something laden with grease. Grease might have been the word for John Travolta, but it shouldn't be for you.
So this is a call to arms to rise up against oppressive celery sticks and rigid gym going and fat measuring. Live a life that is filled with joy and acceptance of yourself and you will probably be healthier and fitter, but definitely happier.
